<lj:music>Iron Maiden- Quest for Fire</lj:music>

Oh shit...I'm updating!
Ok, started school, about 2 months ago blah blah blah, lived at the Hilton for about a month, moved into 5Towns. School sucks. Same ass hole roomate as last year, and I might kill him in his sleep. I got a job here at the Deli in a Wallbaums. It sucks, but the pay is good and the hours are good. I'm going to see Bad Religion next week by my self. I've been listening to a lot of Iron Maiden thanks to the people at work. Maiden is fucking awesome and anyone that doesn't think so is an ass hole. I can't wait to go see them in Jan. Next month I'm going to see Canibal Corpse and Naplam Death with people from work. In other news, Maiden rules. I also bought a computer a few weeks ago. Thats about it. So Maiden rocks, Josh sucks.

So we got up at 6 in the morning and started th drive. Went through Delaware, then Baltamore and after a few hours we ended up in the Washington DC city limits. But, then we decided let's drive through virginia for like 15 mins, so we can say we drove into Virgina. We got gas, and said, let's drive for anther 15 and turn around. Well, that turned into about a half hour and then we said fuck it, let's got to Richmond, "its only about 120 miles!". So we get to Richmond, and then we decide to go for North Carolina. As we are passing the state line, we run into tropical storm Alex. Couldn't see a damn thing, and everybody's pick-up was going of the road, so we decided to turn around. We weren't quite ready for DC yet, so we decided to go to Virgina Beach which about 2 hours out of the way. Got to VA Beach, and it sucked. It was Seaside with trailer trash instead of Italians. Got something to eat and headed back to Richmond. Went north a little bit and the weather was too bad and we were too tired so we got the last room at an Econolodge. Slept, ate breakfast and headed back to DC. Finaly got there, parked and walked around the city for a while. Then, we had enough and headed back to NJ. 1060+ miles, 36 hours total, about 28 of them spent in the car.

Got back from the shore the other day. It was a real good week. Eric was there for most of it and Garet and Clair came one night too. And I convinced Cassie to come one day too. I bought a shit load of cd's down there. 2 Tom Petty's, Shai Hulud, Give Up the Ghost, DFL, The Dickies, The Survivors, Ensign, Dag Nasty, Stiff Little Fingers and some others. Went to upstate NY last night with Tony. We went to A&P and someone left a box of kittens on the side walk. So, I took one. <lj:music>The Germs- My Tunnel</lj:music>

Funny story:
On Sunday, I had work from 5-11. (btw, I deliver for Joey's pizza in Bellville). Anyway, we deliver to Newark a lot. And Newark isn't that bad, as long as you look like you know what your doing and don't bother anyone. But, Sunday was also the Newark Pureto Rican Day Parade. Its about 9:00PM and I have to deliver to ### Summer Ave. It turns out the parade is still going on and it happens to be on Summer Ave. So, I get stuck in the middle of the parade. So I'm trying to figure out what to do about this delivery. BTW, I'm also carrying at least $300 on me. So I put almost all of it in the glovebox. Do I park somewhere and walk through the parade with all this food? I figured that would be a bad idea, so I called work and told them I can't get to the house and they said to bring the order back. So I get stuck at a red light and there are about 100 people running up and down the street and are on the corner. Then, out of nowhere, all these people with PR flags surround my car and start screaming at me and whipping my car with the flags. And i'm like, oh shit, what the hell do i do now. And I'm thinking to my self, I'm half Cuban, don't hurt me!! So a few people move from in front of the car and I just blew the light and got the hell out of there. So, the moral to this story is don't ever interupt the Purto Rican Day Parade.

I haven't said this in a while: I have to work tonight....

Oh well, nothing much new. I got a job, going to see Braid tomorow, Saw The Number 12 Looks Like You last night. They were good, but I give on the hardcore scene; way too much politics and fashion.

    <lj:music>Adam Green- No Legs</lj:music>

Yeah so today is my birthday, another year closer to death, blah blah, 19 sux, my youth is slowly slipping away, ect.

Went to upstate NY on monday to see THE LOCUST and ANDREW W.K.!! It was a great show, met the Locust and talked to them for a bit. They were really nice but it was real creapy seeing them without costumes. Anyway, I got their set list and they singed my EP. I also got onstage 5 time for AWK. He even gave me a hug and I've never felt so unclean in my life. And I stole a bass pic from the bass player. Well, now I have to do all that birthday crap. More later...

    <lj:music>7 Seconds- Young Til' I Die</lj:music>

Went to see The Strokes last night. IT was a great show...blah blah.
Highlights: Adam Green's drunken rants about bunny ranches and sharring the mic with the audiance, forgetting to intoduce himself and his band until before their last song and forgeting to say who he was after he introduced the band so nobody knew who he was untill the Strokes said something much later. Hard to Explain and New York City Cops.

Shawn Lennon (yup, John's son), wasnt that good, but ok. Someone screamed "go back to the mansion!!" durring his 15 min guitar solo which was funny.

Adam Green

The Strokes
